We are planning to add new features!
In addition to the free membership with unrestricted emailing and use of forum and chatting facilities, the site wants to offer an area for “Goldfishes” for a subscription. We would like to know what would interest you. Don’t worry: we keep our promise to offer a free membership, but we also badly need to raise funds and want to offer something attractive that a fair number of you want to subscribe to. I think it would be great on the home page to have tabs for chatroom, forums etc instead of clubhouse. It would be quicker to move from one area to another.
Also to keep old emails, they seem to be deleted and sometimes the user needs to refer back Thanks |

 Oooh i know, a 121 chat alarm..'ping!'! Sometimes when typing a mail the 121 chat notice doesn't show if you're at the bottom of the page or when scrolling thru forums, then before you realise it the 'chatee' has given up...  and may mistake you for being an ignoramus!

 yes indeedy, here, here...!Err, One more thing...  Please take the ad off 121 and make the chat-box bigger so we can keep a track of the conversation. Be great if we had the use of 'smileys' in there too...? Dontcha think?

I don't know about anyone else, but I think it would be good if we could add photos to the forums - either by inserting the IMG code from photobucket (or similar image hosting sites), or even have our own gallery which we can add pics to - to show off our art/craft/photography or other projects, or photos of ourselves?
And maybe the option to embed videos from youtube? So if anyone finds random, funny or bizarre videos, they can easily share them? Obviously people can just put a link in, but it's not really the same as actually seeing it there in the forum. lol I dunno, I was just thinking it would give people something else to talk about in the forums? |

Keep it going, I am so pleased that suggestions and feedback are flowing. Many thanks to all those who have already responded to the survey - again, getting more responses would make the results more representative, so please do send your replies in.
The chatroom and 1-2-1 are earmarked for a complete re-write. They have long outgrown their purpose. There are many requests for pictures because "then you know who you are writing to"... but do you? Pictures are the hallmark of dating sites, and also they are the hoodwinking place number one: how many times have we heard that people put up dated photos, snaps of themselves as babies, teddy bears or someone famous and that would land your website operator in trouble... pictures require a lot of administration, resizing, discussion and when they are finally up, the member puts up a different one. I will need a lot of "picture moderators" if that was implemented somewhere! |

Yeah I think it'd require some moderating, as you also don't want a site to be full of nude images or anything else that's dodgy. lol
I'm not saying that anyone on here would do such a thing, but there are some odd people out there that find it highly amusing to abuse sites like these. I'm no computer boffin or anything, but I know there is something you can use that automatically resizes any photo that is uploaded. Maybe if you do eventually go ahead with the photo thing, you could set some rules on here too, and make every member agree to them before being able to post photos/videos? So anything dodgy or any breach of copyright etc is the responsibility of the user, not the site? |

Missy you have a wholesome view of the world - unfortunately in any group of say 1000 people there is at least ONE who does not play ball - and where do I go if the member is responsible when I have a lawsuit? Members on this site are completely anonymous: Their name or address are totally unknown. The only answer would be tight moderation and that would mean for a living thing like this website which is up 24/7 that we need a lorra lorra mods!

How about a note on the bottom of the "My Corner" to say who is celebrating a birthday that day.
And definately an alarm or something to say someone is trying to chat as it's not always noticeable. |
