I'm a HUGE gamer, and I believe it's the main reason I don't have any friends

I get on with anyone really well but once people find out I'm a gamer, the conversation goes quiet.

Also I'm a campaign gamer too, I do like multi-player but I love an engaging story!
The main problem is that I game in the same room as my partner (I've got 5.1 Surround Turtle Beach Headphones) and chatting interrupts his games unless it's not story driven (ie Bejeweled, Forza etc).

I can also be fussy about who is on my friends list! (so far I've 15 and I actually know them all, rather than randoms)...obviously this makes it difficult meeting new people and the fact it's affected by my OCD doesn't help either!!!

I've probably put people off me straight away here haha!

I play (in order of most used):
Xbox 360 (main)
Nintendo 3DS
PS3
PSP (soon a Vita)

I am a nice person really, sensible (and/or sensibly immature lol), good sense of humour, quiet/shy.
Gaming Kids irk me though when they get lippy and know it all, but doesn't everyone feel that way?

Sorry for the double post.

I'm going to grind against my OCD and add some of you to my friends list. Be warned though that if my OCD gets the better of my I may cull my list lol...but the simple solution if that happens is to re-add me with a message.

Don't feel obliged to accept, I'm not going to be offended if I'm declined, just thought I'd try to expand my list.

As I said previously, I can't alwaya voice chat, but I don't mind text chatting if you have questions etc.

I haven't really been gaming at all recently - too much other stuff going on and just don't seem to have the energy lol I love an engaging story, but I love reading, so I guess that figures. I only have about 5 people on my friends list on xbox. People see my low gamer score and often take the mick!!

Have you tried Skyrim yet?

Hi Jayana,

I've litterally just added you (and others in this thread).
Personally a Gamerscore means nothing to me, it just shows how much time and games you play...NOT how good or dedicated you are so a low score doesn't bother me.

Like you though people criticise me for my high Gamerscore...so you can't win either way.

As for Skyrim *mumbles something about nearing 400 hours playtime*
