Went from nearly 12 stone, (which at 5'1" is fairly heavy), and am now just over 8 stone. I followed the 'boots online' diet plan, and did that in 2009, and still 8 stone; also my work is a full day of 'on the go' not at a desk which is a bonus, and then of course STRESS! See even stress has it's rewards! Keep up the good work all of those who are working towards a healthier lifestyle....mind you a little indulgence every now and then is allowed....isn't it?

*wave* Diet is just a word for what YOU personnally eat. I always thought I ate healthily - as much as anything because I don't like fatty stuff or fried foods & eat enough fruit & drink enough water for two.............BUT........... Despite acceptable exercise, still can't shift a pound. Have enrolled on a site called http://www.nutracheck.co.uk . You can have a 5day free trial before deciding whether to pay for longer. Well, I did the freeby bit then wasn't going to bother but what I did find was that I was more focused having to fill in a daily diary so have continued for a 3month period. It does everything for you in terms of working out your BMI & counting your calorie intake + exercise target to burn those calories in relation to how much you want to lose. You just click on the food/drink you've had that day. There's also a weight & measurement graph, masses of resources & helpful hints as well as forum for like-minded souls.
It's all very sensible BUT only if, like me, you have the time & inclination to complete it. Because I feel I OUGHT to enter somehting in the exercise section that's enough to MAKE me go for that half hour walk!! :)
