Merry Christmas (War is Over) by John Lennon and also the Live Aid 'Do they Know it's Christmas'. I am not really a fan of Christmas the way it has become here in the west, the over-spending, over-eating, over-indulgence.
As the song says 'there's a world outside your window, and it's a world of dread and fear'. At Christmas we really should be thinking of those with nothing to celebrate, except that they are alive ... |
