Hi all, I must admit that I have never seen a Musical all the way through which I think is quite sad considering my job involves me in Music!
I would like to start watching them properly, first one is going to be Willie Wonka and the Chocolate factory because I heard one of the songs that is beautiful. 'Pure Imagination' sung by Gene Wilder.
Had to you tube it which had me in fits of smiles all day, I know this probably seems a little sad but the smallest things make my day.
I don't mind how old they are whether in black and white I want to see it so if you recommend it I will try my best to check it out.

One musical that never fails to get my eyes moist is Les Miserables. Its a great but heavy story with even better music that just goes on the whole way through. Its really a modern opera.
For a lighter stage show try We Will Rock You, the music of Queen wrapped around a weak story.
As for films for me its a giant list and depends on my mood.

Thanks for your reply cancer111, interesting I should treat myself and go see one. I am making notes on it at this moment. I need someone to go with, I will find someone to drag along, its the sharing that makes it fun as well don't you think.
jeff1969, I can see the poster for Les Miserables but haven't seen it so that's one I have to watch.
I was supposed to watch We will Rock You two weeks ago but was unable to make it as my work clashed which is unfortunate I had a free ticket as well.
