Hi everyone firstly thank you all for your comments this is what I feel is forum is about. We won't all agree and we will have discussions and converse thats what friends are for!!!
I was very upset by the way I was befrended and then wham- if you're pretty I will snog you too pops up- that was my trigger and I did reply to said man... and now I know I can block I will... I want to thank the people who took the time to pm me and everyone who posted - hopefully if someone is put in my situation again they will read this and realise there is a block button and then all will be ok.. Maybe in a few months I will toughen up- but to be totally honest I don't think so.. I am me, quiet, sensitive me.x |

I think if you put FEMALES ONLY in your profile it will be clearer for them whos trying to ask you for anything you dont want to be asked , and as mentioned you have BLOCK button just use it and take it easy

I am also looking for friends, and quite often I find many guys who want more. It can get frustrating! Judging by the replies on here, it's safe to say there are people who are just like us. Anyone, feel free to talk to me if you too, just want friends!!

H agree with the comments here HELLO this is a friendship website not some sleezy one SO fellas start showing bit respect here for the ladys and us good guys. Making us look bad too. Yeah a relationship can develope in time though not asking for peoples numbers and say "oh your so nice" when A dont even know them and B thats not what yer do right away. Like i said to some on here " you know who u are" it takes time to build up a trust any way as how know what some is like on other end off the computer.
It annoys me when i read this sort thing and im young cool guy haha. |

Hi all, how you doing?
January must be the longest month in the year!!!! Its hard to keep positive in the dark and the wet. What do people do to keep cheerful and get through the month? I think of Spring, I love spring, daffodils and blossom. It makes you feel 10 years younger. Chris |

Well Chris its hobbies that keep me going, keeping busy etc. I love spring as every things come to life love it, cant wait for it, all the plants coming awake cool.

I am slightly disappointed to read some of the comments on this thread, all the penfriends I have made on here are just what I have looked for - penfriends. I am a male in his fifties and not looking to complicate my life, I have been down that route and it just brought me problems. If people treat this site sensibly and use it to make new friends, then i don't see a problem for those that take it further as a relationship develops and wish them well. With any site like this though, it bound to attract both male and female members that wish to use it for other needs..!! Hopefully they are few and far between. By the way, I have to say the few friends I have made on here, male and female are quality

 Hear Hear, PT. I read with dismay those who have suffered from joining fff when I have only gained. As has been advised just BLOCK & get on with chatting, whether on 1:1 or by writing - it's one of the most therapeutic things out & isn't it just great to be able to be in touch with people from all over the country, whether light conversation, comparing lives, supporting through tough times .................... & very often finding that life isn't always greener on some other sides!
