We haven't had any yet
Love the snow
Makes everything look bright, blue skies
Fingers crossed, we will get some, although the hedgehog I am over-wintering in my shed, will probably need another heat pad
Anyone had enough to make a snowman yet?

Sticking! I wish it wouldn't, I may sound like a bore but I need to get to work mon-wed. Being self-employed can have its downsides.

I had a horrible feeling when I was posting this that I was being selfish! I live a 30 min walk from town centre, countryside on the doorstep and I am young!(ish) Well young enough to cope! I am soooo lucky to have heating on, warm food and to be able bodied. I just think kids young and old, dogs etc love it! It also puts the whole landscape in a new perspective! Even ugly buildings look pretty with snow!xx

Don't feel that you are being selfish johappynow, you are obviously being happy as your name says. I know kids love it too, bet they are hoping for an extra week off school. It does look lovely though I am just afraid of what havoc it may cause as I hear it may get worse. I was clever enough to change the direction of my car, I live on a hill and was parked facing upwards!

Hi Pianoman.
Good start! If you are careful it is normally driveable. It is keeping away from the idiots on the road that is a problem! I learnt to drive in the very bad snow of around Feb March 81 so the snow is not a problem just the other drivers! My driving instructor found it hilarious to do hill starts on the steepest incline he could find! Hope it all works out well for you Pianoman!
Cherybomb maybe enough for a baby snowman!lolxx

That is a good point it is other drivers that can cause problems. One thing that really gets me is that cars try driving up the hill which is useless because they are not going to get up, wheels are spinning, cars out of control takes them 5 minutes before they realize its not going to work and decide to reverse down the hill and try another way.
Something brought A smile to my face though, because cars are full of snow kids are making snowballs from car snow. After turning my car around I stayed in to make a couple of phone calls. While in my car a teenage girl started to take snow off my car not realizing I was sitting in there, I started the engine which gave her a fright, her friend had to check someone was in the car, that was my laugh for the day.

Love it Painoman! I am smiling at the thought of those poor girls and the "start" you must have given them! I have been out with the dog this morning about 8am so the park was quite and some virgin snow left, a couple of brave families where on the hill sledging and a man was out singing as he went! Small joys are good I say. It was lovely! I am now back in the nice warm house, nice hot tea and have a quick clean round!

snow is melting already which doesn't seem fair. We get excited, it comes, causes chaos & leaves a mess like a mucky one night stand
