I've recently got Mumford & Sons ' sigh no more' and it is brill, not a bad track on it. Richard Hawley 'Coles Corner ' is another though thats a couple or so years old I've only just bought it.

I've always been a fan of ACDC and there are plenty of bands that pay homage to their gritty solid riffs, Airbourne are one of them, ive got their first album Runnin Wild which is quite good, but would you recommend No Guts No Glory Jules? Another great ACDC sounding group from the late 80's is Krokus saw them a couple of times at Hammersmith odeon, well worth looking up. Oh and my last purchace a couple of weeks ago was, Foo Fighters- greatest hits essential.

bluebonnet - will take your advice and buy Mumford and sons - have been meaning to get it for a while!!
My last buy was Florence and the Machine and Paolo Nutini - cannot stop listening to either of them!! |

Hi Crofty, I too bought Paulo nutini such a varied and good c.d. I do like what I have seen and heard of Florence and the machine, may get someehing of theirs next time. I'm sure you won't find a bad track on Mumford&Sons enjoy!

Hi Bluebonnet, missed out on seeing Florence live and apparently she was absolutely fantastic live! Have also missed out on tickets (now sold out) for Faithless this week and want to get their new album! I'm gutted!! Your definately right about Paolo Nutini - very varied and I love it!!
