I would say Pink Floyd tho I rather like Porcupine Tree a lot.
There are zillions of great rock bands though

Always been a big fan of Iron Maiden and their highly anticipated new studio album, THE FINAL FRONTIER, has been confirmed for 16th August release.
Recorded at Compass Point Studios in Nassau.
10 tracks and 76 minutes of Metal at Full Blast.

Saxon....very underrated band, one of the best in my opinion. I also love stuff like AC/DC,Maiden, Thin Lizzy, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd...too many to choose between to find a single favourite band though.

for me it would have to be bonjovi at the peak of their career in the 80's...most under-rated rocker..BRYAN ADAMS- his live gigs are brill
