Not a new book, but one I've picked up on recently...

'The Curious Incident of the WMD in Iraq'
(Can be read in forty-five minutes)

By Rohan Candappa.

Described by the *Guardian as '... a brilliant conceit inspired by Tony Blair's prewar mental gymnastics and Mark Haddon's novel, The Curious Incident of the Dog in The Night-Time'.

*Quotes taken from the Guardian's review of the said non-tome should in no way be construed or misconstrued as support or encouragement (or the converse) of the Guardian's political stance, it's exorbitant price, it's Berliner format, or it's stubborn refusal to display unclothed (non gender specific) bodies on page 3 of the publication.

My very humblest apologies Sir, but these bounders will wrap the chips in anything these days.

Hello everyone,
I am a very keen and active reader and try to read a wide variety of books. Currently, I am reading two books: the first, a novel and the other a true-life story. The true-life story is entitled 'Mummy Daddy' by Jeremy Howe and is an autobiographical account of a father bringing up two young daughters after his wife's random and horrible murder. The second is a new novel entitled 'The Flying Man' by Roopa Farooki and is based on the main character's inability to settle down: he is constantly reinventing himself. I would highly recommend both books.
