I am new to this site and was just wondering if anyone is in to cinema/films and would like to discuss? Anything really - what's currently showing or your favourites. I've got a wide interest, anything from horror to romcom.

I went to see that too and even though its not generally my kind of film and did seem a very long film, I have to admit I did actually enjoy it and yes I went to see it in 3D

Yeah it had wonderful scenery. Films seem to still be getting better and better, even though it seems like its impossible to get better.

Hey Surrey, I wanna see the Ian Dury film too. About time something musical came out that doesn't teenagers dancing all the way through it. The guy is sent in as a spy but falls in love with the princess.
Hey Luna, Lol at wolfman - I'm guessing you fancy Mr Hopkins The Book of Eli and The Road both sound like good films to see. |

One film I've always loved is Guarding Tess with Nic Cage. I normally go for your typical lads films, guns, exsplosions etc etc, but this film is really good. It is a few years old now, but if you can get it, it's worth a watch.

Has anyone seen Precious? I read the book it's based on years ago. Is it worth a look?

Invictus is amazing too! Morgan Freeman as Nelson Mandela... absolutely awesome, and Matt Damon does a really good South African accent too. =]
