Fishing For A Friend

Hello, I have moved into my girlfriend's house in Bury which is lovely, but the job that I do does not really afford me any chances to make a real friend.
It would be great to meet someone to have a beer with and talk about football etc.
Hmmmmmm, what to say? I like football (as aforementioned) and enjoy going on holiday, reading, the cinema and watching soaps (on tv of course). Hahaha I sound so vacant, but do not really know what to put!
