Fishing For A Friend

Its new years eve, im 50 unmarried but have a totally incompatible partner of 11 years, who went to bed at 11 pm. Now tell me how sad is that! and i turned down an invitation to a party. I have one grown up son and another of 10. As a family unit i suppose we are dis-functional. I just want someone to talk or listen to about anything, any normal adult communication appreciated. The weather, politics, the price of sheep, anything! I don't want to meet up or go hiking or visit museums, just to chat. A good sense of humour would be nice, no make that imperative. As they say laugh and the world laughs with you, cry and you cry alone. Don't expect any speed typing responses i type with one finger. Well if anyone takes the bait "fishing for friends" no pun intended, im here typing digit ready.
